Worst President Ever? Don't Take Our Word for It
Yeah, we've got the domain. But is Donald Trump really the worst president ever? Don't take our word for it.
The Washington Post
Washington Post columnist Max Boot says it well:
"With his catastrophic mishandling of the coronavirus, Trump has established himself as the worst president in U.S. history."
The Lincoln Project
The attention-grabbing Lincoln Project, founded in December of 2019 by well-known Republicans (yeah, you read that right) recently released a hard-hitting ad in response to President Trump's planned 4th of July visit to Mt. Rushmore. The money quote:
"America's worst president will neither be remembered nor revered."
A President's Legacy by The Lincoln Project
American Political Science Association
Almost two years before the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States, 170 members of the APSA got together for their 2018 Presidents & Executive Politics Presidential Greatness Survey (these folks sound wild). Members were asked to rank every president on a scale of 0 to 100.
Donald Trump's score? 12.34. Ranking? Last.
The Boston Globe
Globe columnist Michael Cohen writes:
"Well Mr. President, congratulations! With your handling of the coronavirus pandemic you’ve officially passed Bush. You’re the worst president ever — and you did it all in just one term!"
